After starting his working life in Cape Town in the furniture industry, Ben started his property journey over 20 years ago in Bramhall, working for a corporate agent. After progressing to Branch Manager, Ben ran offices in Altrincham, Hale and Wilmslow but eventually became frustrated by the lack of autonomy and ability to really influence the direction of the corporate businesses. He was then approached by Julian Wadden in Didsbury to set up a new office, and within a few years became a company Director and the market reading agent in that very fast paced environment. After nearly 10 years in Didsbury, the business was sold to another large corporate agency, so Ben and Nick connected through a shared vision of being part of a dynamic, independent agency and the time came for Ben to return ‘home’ to his first and favourite market, Bramhall.
Ben lives in Marple Bridge with his wife Sue and their 3 girls, Alice, Ella and Maddy. They all enjoy the outdoors, good food (especially BBQ’s) and Ben plays competitive squash, enjoys running in the hills around Marple and is a convert to cold water therapy!
